This Sunday I’ll be starting a new 4-week series entitled Only You Can Be U. It’s a great one to invite your family and friends to. 

You are 100% original. God made you just the way He wanted to! Think about this with me: if I would spend my moments, my days, and my life trying to be someone else, then who is going to be Dwight? You may disagree, but the world needs Dwight. And the world needs you, because only you can be you!

Everyone feels pressure.  Pressure to perform, to maintain, to achieve, to win, to survive.  And often in the middle of that pressure, we come to moments in our lives where we don't even know who we are anymore.  Perhaps we compromised a dream, maybe we stopped using a unique gift of ours, or it could be that we simply lost touch with the idea of being fulfilled in our chase for more.

We want to help with the pressure. In our message series Only You Can Be U, we will help you discover how to start living the life you were created to live.  Realize your dreams, use your gifts, experience fulfillment.  That's the vibrant existence that we believe God created us all to experience.

A Call to Prayer - 100 Hours

NewPointe has a God-sized vision. Without inviting God, this does not and will not continue to happen. John Wesley has said, “God does nothing but in answer to prayer.”

I am calling NewPointe to recommit to prayer. Prayer is ultimately the heart of what we are doing. You know as well as I do – without a heart, we have no life. So, without prayer we have no life. Jesus said, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.“ Mark 11:24

I am asking for 300 people to commit to pray 1 hour per week. I have committed myself to 100 hours of prayer for NewPointe over the next several months. This is what I am asking you to pray:

1. Pray that God would reign His favor over NewPointe.
2. Pray that God would speak clearly to me about His vision for NewPointe.

Each week, I will have a prayer list of specific things that you can prayer for on behalf of NewPointe. I can email this to you when you sign up at www.newpointe.org/100hoursofprayer.
