A new month brings with it thoughts of a fresh start. Being June, much of the world around us is full of freshness - green grass, colorful flowers, graduations, weddings, and more!
Here at NewPointe, we have some new things happening, too! We have embarked on what we are calling Influence 77 (meaning Interstate 77). We believe that since the local church is the hope of the world, teaching and living the truth of Jesus Christ, it needs to be leveraged. First, we’ll leverage it by planting multi-site (more campuses) in Northeast Ohio, that are contiguous and committed to developing relevant environments that are conducive for the Spirit of God to speak. We want to do this so that people can purse 3 vital relationships: intimacy with God, involvement in community (believers), and influence in the world (unbelievers).
Second, we want to help business owners and leaders develop their employees so that their companies can operate at the highest level of efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring a healthy and robust economy in Northeast Ohio. We believe that this is possible by developing character and competencies within people that deal with work and life. This will then make Northeast Ohio more industrious and attractive.
Third, we want to invest in the schools in Northeast Ohio. We believe that we are called to invest in the next generation. We want to do this by encouraging and equipping our education leaders with principles and values so that they can be fully engaged and influence the youth in their care. Influence 77 is an exciting and fresh way to bringing change to our communities, families, businesses, and schools.
