This past weekend we were able to see one of my dreams come true. It has always been a dream of mind to be able to encourage, challenge and train church leaders to be all that God has called them to be, especially churches that are in rural areas and small towns.
We hosted a two day event where we gave complete access to all that we do here at Newpointe. Saturday night those attending were given a tour of the facilities with explanations of the specific environments and the purpose of each area as well as a time of teaching about leadership development that is strong enough to lead change.
Sunday morning they were then able to experience each of those environments in full swing as well as experience a service. After lunch there were workshops with time for Q & A about each ministry area.
We fulfilled our vision. We encouraged. We challenged. We trained. It was a great time of helping leaders to realize that they can have a positive, powerful impact right where they are leading.
